This will be the first facility developed by AD Ports Group in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its first cruise facility outside the United Arab Emirates.

The new terminal will serve as a gateway into the port of Aqaba that will accommodate cruise ship passengers visiting the Red Sea, in addition to serving as a major attraction for Aqaba residents with a wide range of tourism, shopping and travel services. entertainment.

Another terms and conditions agreement was also signed, stipulating that AD Ports Group, through its digital arm, Maqta Gateway, will manage the implementation of an advanced Port Community System (PCS), which will oversee communication between Aqaba ports and terminal operators, Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), Aqaba Development Corporation, Jordan Maritime Commission, customs, support services and land links for the port of Aqaba.

Building on its long-standing and extensive expertise as a global trade and logistics facilitator, AD Ports Group will work closely with Aqaba Development Corporation to deploy the digital system to expand the technical capacity and capabilities of ports of Aqaba.

The agreement was signed during a visit by a high-ranking delegation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan led by Ing. Nayef Ahmad Bakheet Altheeb, Chief Commissioner, Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority in Abu Dhabi and is the first in a series of strategic partnerships with AD Ports Group.
