Can Jordan Love Fill Aaron Rodgers’ Shoes?
- Jordan Love will make his first career start in Week 9 with a passing total of 232.5 yards.
GREEN BAY, Wisconsin. – Jordan Love is set to make his first career debut for the Green Bay Packers in week 9 against Kansas City Chiefs. It comes after Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19[female[feminine even though he was not vaccinated, which forced him to leave.
That being said, legal online betting sites have odds on his total passes for the game and he couldn’t have asked for a better game than the Chiefs.
Jordan Love Total Passing Yards
- Over 232.5 -115
- Less than 232.5 -115
The leaders are allowing the eighth most passing yards per game with 269.8 yards allowed. The Chiefs have helped quarterbacks reach over 232.5 all season long with six of eight QB hitting the mark and Jordan Love is expected to cash the Over NFL odds.
Quarters that have exceeded include Baker Mayfield, Lamar jackson, Justin herbert, Jalen hurts, Josh Allen, and Ryan tannehill. What they all have in common against the Chiefs is that they all target the right side of the pitch.
Throwing to the right, Mayfield saw 13 of his 21 achievements, Herbert saw 13 of 26 achievements, Hurts had 19 of 32 achievements, and Allen went 7 for 15 with two of his three longest passes on the right.
If the Packers’ offense is to plug Love into the same play script as Aaron Rodgers, that further supports his case for Over. Rodgers hit the Over in five of eight games this season.
Overall, with arguably the best receiver in the league in Davante Adams on the pitch with him, and mostly on the right side, Love should be able to quickly build chemistry with him.
